I'm Gerald. I'm a dad, a gamer, and sometimes I nerd out and make games too!
My journey in game development so far has been awesome. I embarked on this journey back in 2018. I was working for a local trucking company and decided it was time for a change. I found Game Dev HQ, and learned the ins and outs of Unity and C#. From there, I've got my hands dirty with Unreal Engine, Construct 3, and even some Web Development! Programming is my favorite activity besides fishing with my kids. The constant pull to learn and grow as a software engineer in unrelenting. The constant pull to get out on the lake with my kids is too! Sometimes I don't know how to reconcile this fact.
